Question STI Type RA 5 speed tranny?

I was going to go to the Japan STI 5 speed to hold my 300WHP. So that I do not snap the tanny when I do launch control. But I was wondering if anyhow has seen these trannys used and what they have sold for.

thannks

A vendor has one now. Forget which. Ask em all. Costs as much as 6mt though.

A lot cheaper then a 6mt

6mt=$5000

Well it is cheaper and easier to use your tranny case and just swap out the gears rather then buying the full transmission.

The actual RA 5speed tranny is like 3K. With just RA gears you can do it for like 2K complete. The RA actual RA 5mt has mechanical diffs and probably DCCD. As a solution, it is much better. At that price point, I would however go with the 6mt as it is just a better box period. You can find them used for 4K. Drive shaft used for $150. Used R&P for $120. Still have to do the R&P with the actual RA 5mt.
