Default Anyone have pics of 18's on a legacy?

I'm torn between getting 17's or 18's. I don't rally, but I would like to do an occasional auto-x here and there. My H&R's are on the way. I've only had the car a couple of months, but I'm bored with the stock setup. Just curious, what could I get for my stock rims and tires(only have 7,250mi on them)

225/18 40's on a B4

They rub in the back, though, you need to roll your fenders if you plan on doing this. I would go with 17's if for performance, and not looks.

The 18s look nice. Some cars like Honda Civics when people put huge 18s on there, they look funny. 18s look normal on the Legacy. I think I'll try a set.

If you want to run 18", run either a 225/35/18 or a 215/40/18 rubber to prevent rubbing. this is with a 18x7.5" w/ +48mm offset

50mm or above is safer for 18s - the limix linea wheel, 18" only and designed for the BE5 is 52mm.

Tyres with big rim/curb guards like some high end Bridgestones, or very square ones like some Pirellis need particular care.

Hope this helps.

the 18" wheels in the pic make the front rotors look tiny. i think someone needs a brake upgrade.

Thumbs up

That looks so nice! I'm definetly going to save up a couple of bucks and get 18's. I'm not going to race, so it's mostly for looks. Plus 2 all the way!
