Default Borla Cat. Back Exhaust

I have read some things on the board about this exhaust, but I want to hear more. I want to know if anyone has this system and how it has worked out for them. I have decided not to get headers...I don't want the extra noise. I am mostly interested in torque. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

p.s. It's for a 2002 rs with the crap stock exhaust..yuk!

We have a Borla catback and since you also live in Omaha e-mail and my son could meet up with you and let you listen to it.
The exhaust was too quiet at first but sounds much better now with a few miles on it. We'll be gone 7/7-7/11
My son works at Huber Chevrolet and get off work at 6:00 you could possibly swing by if you want and listen, let us know

I just added the header. I noticed no increase in noise at all. For me, this is a good thing. The bad thing is I also noticed no increase in power.

I've always head that the Borla is much louder than the Stromung. Is this true?

Default borla

the borla has a deep tone to it, but it doesn't have as much bass. (I think) I've never driven a stromung so I can't say for sure. I think they are equally loud though.

Lume-Do you have an aftermarket Catback exhaust? You really aren't going to see a difference from the header without having a good performance exhaust system behind it.
