Default 03 fuel temp sensor? EJ20 Swap code

My only CEL with the 03 EJ20 swap into 99 RS is a fuel temp sensor code. Looks like my car didnt have one.

Any work arounds? (resistor etc...)

Your car does have a fuel temp sensor. It's a blue/black wire coming off the pump going to pin 26 on connector B136 at the ECU. It's grounded in the rear of the engine bay somewhere. So unless you pulled a lot of the stock vehicle harnesses out the ground should still be good. Mine was in my 99l/02WRX swap and I pulled the entire stock engine wiring harness out of the car.

The 2003+ cars actually have an additional solenoid that the older cars don't have. I expect that code will show up. The fuel temp sensor should be there on your car, though.
