Question ATTN: Tim Stevens and Gamers of all ages

Call of Duty: Finest Hour
Golden Eye: Rogue Agent
Ghost Recon 2
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

I was looking into getting a couple of these games. Anybody that's played them has some reviews. Are there any similar type games I should be looking at?? Anybody heard anything about the new Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory coming out in April??

First off, which platform is this for?

I just reviewed the Xbox Ghost Recon 2, and it was good, but it was a real disappointment compared to the last. Fun, but much more of a shooter and less strategy needed. The PS2 version is purportedly even worse, but I haven't spent much time with it yet.

Rainbow Six was good, but not great. I reviewed one of the expansions for the PC: http://gamesdomain.yahoo.com/feature/10920

I've heard Rogue Agent isn't too hot, but haven't played it. Same for the latest Call of Duty.

Pandora Tomorrow is fun. Single player is just more of the same, but online play can be fun if you find the right opponents. Chaos Theory should be great too, but is a few months off.

Its real open ended. Sorta like GTA and Socom combined.

If you're talking about PS2, I can give you an opinion on Ghost Recon 2 tonight. It's sitting on my couch at home right now, but I didn't get to play it last night cause we watched Chronicles of Riddick.

I've heard good things about Rainbox Six 3 but haven't played it myself yet.

Call of Duty on PC is supposed to be brilliance and has won awards. I rented it for PS2 and couldn't stand the frustration.

It may have been just me, but the lighting was a little too realistically murky. This resulted in several instances of:

Me: "Hey guy, what's happening..."

German Soldier: "Die Ruskie scum!"

...and then I get blown up, forced to start at the last check point. There were also several collision bugs I ran into, causing my character to run in circles with no escape or do perpetual backflips. Soft reset cured that, but still.

(Preface, that should go above: I didn't like Socom either, I'm a MOH boy.)
