Default Help Me:- Does this sound like a normal Canadian Address?

Hey Guys,

I just sent payment to a company in Canada. The guy gave me this address.

TSR Tuning
Box 669
Pilot Butte, SA SOG 3Z0

I have never written anyone in Canada but for some reason this didn't sound right. Has anyone ever heard of this company? He sold me sound deadener for the car from ebay.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Brad

Sorry, IIRC, SA is not a shorthand for any province in Canada. So it's not a valid address.

There's a Pilot Butte in Saskatchewan whose abbreviated name is "SK" and not "SA".

Other than that little letter, it is good to go. Lots of sound deadener people in SK!

Actually he wrote the province name as Sask. Would that be correct? I confirmed the address listed above and he didn't seem to say that the SA part was wrong.

Otherwise if I would have written:

TSR Tuning
Box 669
Pilot Butte
Sask, Canada, S0G 3Z0

Would this have been write? Please show what would be the write way to address this.

Thanks
Brad

Here is how I would write it:

TSR Tuning
Box 669
Pilot Butte SK S0G 3Z0
Canada

But, that is just me ...

I'm pretty sure you can get away with:

TSR Tuning
Box 669
Pilot Butte
Sask, Canada, S0G 3Z0

Pilot Butte.....bhahaha.....that sounds like such a fake name!!!!!!

Brad,

Don't worry about it too much. I entered the PO Box, town and SK in to Canada Post's postal code search and came up with:

PO BOX 669
PILOT BUTTE SK S0G 3Z0

So, this appears to say that the address is realistic. Since Canada Post uses the Postal code to get a letter to the right place and even to the right side of the street, I think your letter will be delivered to the right province.

Since it is a PO box, they should be able to find that as it should be in one of their own facilities.

If you had the PO BOX wrong, then you'd have a problem

Hey, I've been to Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan, and I can't imagine a "tuning" shop there.

Whomever you are TSR, power to ya' man! Didn't even know you could get a decent ISP in that part of the Country.

I have a client in Tisdale, Saskatchewan (which is much larger than Pilot Butte) and he calls his Town "Butt F*&k Saskatchewan". If that's the case, I can't even imagine what that would qualify Pilot Butte as.

For the record, Pilot Butte is just a stones throw away from Saskatoon.

Cheers,
MB

Have a Nice Day?

Hey Markus,

Would you happen to go through Nipawin? My home town *shudder* is about 20 minutes west of there. A little farming community called Choiceland ... small world nonetheless ...

I'm not sure but there was a dealer for TRi Tuning in Sask. but they violated some terms or something with TRi Tuning, and were no longer carrying the stuff.. not sure if this was the Co. But I'd listen to Markus, since he's been there. I'm surprised that there'd even be a place out in Sask to do car stuff, they have a relatively low population... and most of them are truck driving peoples.

Cool Yes, it is a small world!!

Keenan,

YES, I have been through Nipawin before, I've even heard of Choiceland, but its such a small place that it would never even register on my Company's "radar". In fact, Nipawin barely qualifies.
