Question Good US web site for headlights?

I've tried searching here and google and am not coming up with anything.
I've tried NAPA, Advance, Autozone. I'm looking for a good US web site to buy headlights and foglights for any of the following: Osram Silverstars, GE Megalight Plus, or Phillips Vision Plus. It seems like every site I tried is UK based and I refuse to go to Ebay. Any help? Thanks.

Daniel Stern Lighting-
www.danielsternlighting.com
In the US, carries the Osrams and some others as well. Also a great technical resource for lighting related stuff.

I assume you mean bulbs, not headlamps. No matter since Stern sells both (including European spec lenses).

Yes, I meant bulbs. From his site, I only see Osram, what about GE & Phillips?

Does anyone have any more reliable sources? I've been waiting for an email response from Daniel Stern Lighting for 4 days now. Or maybe a phone number... Thanks, Justin

He's usually pretty reliable, I suspect the approaching holiday is keeping everyone busier than normal.

www.suvlights.com lists
PHILIPS - Vision Plus & OSRAM - Silverstar for the H1 (low beam) bulb type, but no Megalight.

They also have Philips Weathervision & HiVisibility

Why avoid eBay? I've had good luck with them over the years for PIAA and Osram bulbs(H1, H3, H3C, 9005). I've yet to receive anything but new in box items and none have had premature failure and most of the reputable eBay shops will back the bulbs for 7-10 days, enough time for the buld to fail if they are junk. Why pay full if you don't have to?

A quick search on eBay right now turned up less than stellar results for Osram. Most the sellers were also in the UK. The prices were also not much better than any web site I've seen so far. Suvlights.com looks pretty decent. I'll have to search to see if anybody has had poor results with them.

Although I can't vouch for or against that site (since I've never purchased from them), I know I'm not the only one that mention this site in NASIOC. Judging from the brief FAQs, they don't seem like a mere high volume seller that doesn't know anything at all about their products.

I've dealt with them, I'd give them a B grade. He is nice enough, but he just takes forever sometimes.

Also, try www.rallylights.com. Drop them an email maybe they can source it for you.

I just got a pair of the GE Megalights from Stern. He has more in stock than what is listed on his website, so be patient and give him some time. His knowledge and customer service are well worth it.

As for SUVlights.com, go to the Vendor forum and read my comments about how badly they suck! Good Luck and happy holidays!

Just wanted to second that. Four days is long for him as i have always found him to be prompt (within three days at the most).

My short review of SUVLights.com can be found here - guess I'll keep waiting for Daniel Stern to get back to me...

Justin

EDIT: my "short" review is no longer short!

Its too bad about your response from them. I would think places trying to sell on the internet would be working harder at customer service. It is so easy just to keep browsing and find another site willing to sell you product. Oh well. Thanks for sharing.
