well, mostly stock, i have SSR Comp wheels.....
all we have around open right now is an 1/8th mile track up here in n. dallas, so we went to denton dragway on friday.... stock i ran a 9.10 w/ a 1.9 60' at 76 mph i didn't think i did too bad considering it was my first time ever to go to a track and race anything.... and it's pretty much stock, hopefully this time next year i can be in the low 8's, i can post a picture of the slip if anyone really cares. i think if i took all the extra crap i had in my car including all the junk in the back and the spare tire and other stuff i could have maybe ran a 9.05, with a little better driving too, the other guys were quite impressed... this is a 2003 WRX

The 9.1 is a very good time in the 1/8th. The 76mph trap speed is quite strong I think. My best run totally stock was 9.43 at 74mph.
The 1.9xx 60' time is good for your first time out. It took me a few runs to drop under the 2.xxx mark. What tires are you running on the SSRs? Did you get much tire spin from the front on launch? Are you using any EM at all? |

I didn't know that you got a 1.9 60'. I thought Scott was the only one to manage sub 2.0 when we were out there. It was so cold I couldn't get any traction. My best 60' of the night was a 2.006 when I normally run 1.88's at that track. My best still came out to 8.73 @ 79.96 though, so it wasn't too bad.

no, no EM, just stock... yokohama avs es 100's which i will never buy again, 225/45/R17, what is a suggestion for that size tire that will actually last 10k miles this is ridiculous i've had them for maybe 5 and the front ones are almost gone, so i rotated, and in 3 months i will have to buy new ones..... they will have lasted 7 months.... i was launching at roughly 5k wish some front tire spin, but it was mostly hopping not spinning... i wanted to try launching at 6200 or so but could never get it that high at the tree, i only raced 5 times and my best was the second time, i beat a stage 2 STi, due to driving.... i went back to the group of subbies from TXIC and they were like "whoa man you beat a modded STi stock!!!!" it was great
