love my Defi Link boost gauge. iirc you really don't need a turbo timer. but if you really do want one. i think one of the compustar alarms has an integrated turbo timer. don't remember which one off the top of my head.

i got the blitz.. its ok.. since it matches the color of my car. i would recommend apexi. turbo gauge i was looking into blitz blm (carbon fiber background) only bad thing is that they only come in 60mm.. 9secondracing.com has the lowest price i've seen for the blitz gauges

I second J*Bishop on the Defi being nice (they have one that matches the STi very well) and turbo timers being unnecessary.

If you don't mind gauges that don't look as close to the oem cluster as the Defi, then there are a lot of choices here: www.egauges.com (they also carry Defi recently iirc).

Turbo timers only serve to burn extra gas. As per the owner's manual, the car is designed in such a way that coolant continues to circulate through the turbo AFTER the car is shut off. While it's good practice to drive less enthusiastically before shutting down the car (and only if you've been really pushing it), the car is designed so that an extended idle down is NOT necessary.

A turbo timer won't hurt the car so much as just waste a lot of your money. If you really want to get a TT, you can get one like the Blitz unit that comes with a built in boost gauge.
