Default Help with JDM projector H1 bulbs

Ive tried searching to solve my problem but couldnt find anything.

Basically i got a pair 02/03 non HID JDM projectors (going to be using the CC-B PnP harness) and i figured out how to wire everything except for the Low Beam. I have the H1 bulbs but my set of headlights did not come with the low beam cover/h1 harness. How would i go about wiring these h1 bulbs with having an h1 harness? Can i just solder the wires to the bulb or is there a better way? (im pretty adept in the world of electronics so go ahead and get technical when posting)

Sounds like those lights probably had a HID kit in them and that's why the covers and connectors are missing. You are best off trying to replace these parts for best results, I wouldn't recommend soldering wires to the bulbs. Among other things you'll be rather unhappy when it's time to replace them.
Also for best lighting performance with those lights it would be a good idea to open them up and modify the plates to flatten out the beam pattern, to eliminate the traffic-blinding RHD setup.

yeah im planning on converting them to LHD. and i dont think that they were HID because ive analyzed the backs of both and these dont have the screw holes for the covers that go over the low beam like on the HID lights. and they have the clip on the back of the projector to hold the H1 bulb in because i believe that the HID is a much larger bulb.

I didn't mean that they were the JDM HIDs, but that the previous owner had probably installed an aftermarket HID kit in them, which would have required making holes in the covers or removing them to accomodate the rebased HID bulbs. Those bulbs would have fit in the H1 housings using the existing clips. The H1 connectors would have been removed to get them out of the way when installing the HIDs.
Of course you should have been informed about this when you were considering purchasing these lights since they are now incomplete. Perhaps you can contact the person you bought them from and see if he still has these parts.

over the H1 bulb is the housing. unscrew that and in there u will find the bulb and to the side of the bulb is another connection for a spade connector. u must run a wire each form these connectors out thru the housing and connect them to ur PnP harness.
i wish i could find that link.
if u go to eye-club.com and do a search, its in there somewhere before the break up.

Here is what the back of your JDM lights should look like minus the leveling motor before any modification. Use it as a reference.

To connect my lights without splicing into the wiring I modified some all weather spade plugs.

Does anyone a picture of the back of the non-hid low beam projector with the cover off?

I didn't get the harness either and am not sure where the other lead connects to.
