Default 04, 05 - Changing DRL (w/ wiring) from H1 to 9005 housing

anyone know how to set a DRL in the "9005 highbeam"'s housing instead of the "H1 lowbeam"'s housing? I think we need wiring modification in order to do this rite.

Acura RSX has the "highbeam and DRL" in the inside headlite housing and "lowbeam" in the outside housing. But our 04-05's headlight does not go with this was of setup which I like.

Why do you think this is better? Cars that have high beam DRLs are even more annoying to other drivers than those that use low beams, since even at reduced intensity the high beams still have the same pattern that shines up into oncoming drivers' eyes.
If you really wanted to do this you could get the wiring diagrams for your car and see what's involved. It would be possible but not that simple and not worth the trouble IMO. Many people have disabled the DRLs altogether which is a very simple operation.

Depends on where the person is - for me, disabling DRL is not really an option, so when I go HID, high-beam DRL it is...

Thing I hate about high-beam DRL are the people who forget to turn on their running lights at night, so you get the high-beam DRL right in the face. Seems like Toyota or maybe Chevy did that for a few years.

Just remember to turn on your lights at night and I won't lump you in with the Chevy Malibu drivers.

I think both Honda and Toyota doing this long long time and years already, for Honda, as you may see Accord,.. Integra..and now RSX...all are high-beam DRL...for safety purpose, it is better.
