Default need help sourcing switches

ok, I am going nutz. I must have spent a hour looking for these. I found these switches in a old issue of Max Power UK and I can't find a US vendor for them ( I found a UK vendor, but I bet the shipping would be killer )

If any one knows anything about these switches please let me know.

all I know is that they are alloy, flush mount and that they are Blue LED back lit.

<the one thing I really want to know if how big they are>

thanks in advance,
RR

Said this is their US website. They are also from UK, but these are the switches. By Trillogy

EDIT: just did a quick checkout to check shipping, it's $30 on a $30 switch via UPS. So their still shipping from UK.

(but i'm still looking for ya)

if you find anything it would be greatly appreciated.

RR

You should order them in bulk, RR, and resell them here to other guys on the forums. *cough*

so that's what, $45 a switch (after shipping to U.S. but before shipping to customer)?

But yeah, someone should get in touch with trillogy and become a US vendor. Probably sell a bundle.

I know i'd be interested in them.

Also, RR, show us a pic when/if you get them... and the reason why you got them??!!!

like duh. Go look at the aux lighting thread

I want them so I can choose which set of lights go and off. It will consist of 5 buttons, 12-14 high load relays and a foot switch

If I can get a hold of them, I have to set it up through a vendor with a business license, maybe then we could get them wholesale and shipped in bulk.

I'll see. I am hugely busy right now.

I have a rack of lights sitting in my living room waiting to be wired up. Can you imagine that. Me with lights that have never been lit

Shipping is expensive there because they do not have a centralized post office in Europe, each country has their own postal service, which is also not as efficient as here. When I was in Italy I was told not to ship anything via Italian Post because it would take months.

Another reason it is so expensive is because with UPS and Fedex you usually have to pay brokerage fees and alot of times UPS will ship it just to Europe and from there another delivery company is comissioned to take over For some countries you have to pick it up your package at customs to pay duty. If you want it delivered to your house it is another extra charge.

now who do you suppose makes these things? I doubt that Trillogy is the actual manufacturer.

we're getting closer.

Default Any US Distributor for Trillogy buttons?

Holy thread revival, I know...

Does anybody know if a US distributor ever materialized for the Trillogy buttons/switches? They've got a presence on ebay (under the name "Savage", it looks like), but I haven't been able to find anything that might help me get them shipped from this hemisphere.

We've got a few in our project that were shipped over with the kit, but we need some more and would like to get matching units for the trunk, bonnet, and door releases...

This was the only thread that came up for "Trillogy" (not including OT threads with misspellings for Star Wars, LOTR, and other movie anthologies)...

Thanks!
Mike
