Default I wish I'd never installed them

I've had my mud flaps for close to 50,000km when one of the interior front brackets gave loose.

So, I go to replace it and find the out 3 are siezed. I don't mean a little siezed, I mean fused bolt to metal tab siezed.

Good luck trying to get them seperated from your fender if you ever decide to take them off or have to replace one of the bolts

Rally Armor FTW - best investment I ever made! At first I wasn't sure about the look, but I have grown to like it and they do a heck of a job protecting the car. Highly recommended!

I agree 100%.

I just put my car back to stock, and trying to unbolt the mud flaps were a PITA. The metal clips they give you rust onto the bolts, so they're either extremely difficult to take off, or you have to cut if them off. Trying to take these off bent my fenders slighty, wasn't too pleased.

Just an FYI...

We had noticed that on flaps made prior to late 05 there was an issue with some of the hardware. Rally Armor was made aware and made some great improvements.

Since then, there has been two revisions. Both which make it much easier to install and remove. Stainless steel and plastic hardware.

Rally Armor seems to be a manufacture who is always looking to improve their product whenever possible.

so it seems like everyone is stoked on these, but, how do they actually hold up to rally? or rallycross?

I have posted a complete review of the RA flaps here.

The hardware is now stainless steel screws with plastic clips so they will not corrode and seize together. The flap mounting is very strong - the flaps would have to take a mighty big hit to knock them loose.

I will be ordering these as soon as I can. I want them for RallyX and for snow. Great customer service so far and I have yet to order my flaps.

Nice to know they made some changes to the hardware! Maybe I'll have to take another look at these...

i started installing mine today. I followed HSPN video instructions, and by the time i got to the final (rear right) mudflap, all i had left are long screws.... they seemed to have sent me too few small screws and too many big screws... so i have to roll around on 3 mudflaps till i go buy some smaller screws...

Ps. as usual all the stock plastic clips are PITA

overall this product seems "okay", but nothing spectacular.

You need to use the long screws for the side skirts as per the instructions you seem to have used them for the other flaps

That must be my problem, thanks for posting that.
