Default Which shifter bushings should I go with?

I've heard a lot of good things about kartboy but I've come across the cusco for about the same price. I don't know what material cusco uses but it says it replaces the "squishy" rubber bushings. does anyone have experience with the cusco bushings?
thank you,
mitch

I did a search and nothing useful come up, apparently the words cusco, bushing, and shift are very common.

The Cusco and Kartboy bushings are similar. Most people go with the Kartboy as the more popular and proven product, and they give you candy.

Default $8.00 bushing

I used a urathane shifter bushing from Energy suspension. Only $8.00 and really improved the feel.

Those Energy bushings may be cheaper but they aren't as well made as the KB's. Also IIRC they are one piece as opposed to two and people have reported difficulty installing them.

I've seen the one piece, and I have no clue how they would go in. They are as hard as the KBs, and there's that lip. KBs are a SNAP with the two piece design.

True, the Energy Suspension bushings are one piece. I sliced mine in half with a knife - the only way to get them in.
