Default Attention All '05 STi Owners

I just placed the following setup on eBay. I just want to give my fellow brothers of Subaru a heads-up, due to the popularity of these rims in the Subaru family.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7944294389

I have a set of four 18" O.Z. F1 Cup Anthracite, (GunMetal) Rims. They were off of my '95 Mitsubishi Eclipse and do not fit my '99 Subaru Impreza 2.5L RS. My loss, your gain! These are great rims and wish I had use for them now. I spent $2K on this set, when purchased new. The lug pattern is 5-114,3 and will fit the New 2005 Subaru Impreza STi !!!

There are tires on the set of rims right now, (Yokohama Parada 18-225/40) It is up to the buyer, if they would like them left on, or taken off. (NO CHARGE) This is an option due to the fact two of the tires need to replaced right off the bat, and the other two tires will need to be replaced soon after.

There is a small pair of scratches on the front of one of the rims. I noticed it after a quick service at a local shop, they must have set the rim down on it's frontside. Though it isn't too noticable, (please see the close-up picture with the nickel sitting on the rim for reference).

I am trying to make this as simple as possible, therefore, I will pay for shipping charges as well. [FREE SHIPPING] I will try to answer any and all questions I can, just drop me an e-mail. I also have more pictures available if needed. Thanks for viewing! Good Luck!

What is the offset of the New '05 STi?
Is it the same as the old, +48?

One would think that there would be more than 2mm spared between the Brembos and the rim.

STi Brembos are huge brakes that barely fit in the 17" stock wheels (which are specially designed for the brembos).

Most 17" wheels won't fit an STi and lot of 18"s don't fit either. A lot of people scratch up their brakes when fitting wheels because things are so tight.

I'm not saying that it won't fit. I'm just saying that you can't really say it will fit until you try it.

Jermaine: If we could meet in Jersey sometime to try out these rims, that would be great !! For future reference to clear up this 2mm thing, or for you and your STi !! I'm sure they would look hot on your car. I'd rather meet monday or before, due to these rims being on eBay and all. Though I will give fellow Subaru brothers first dibs. Thanks for your interests, Brian.
