Default Happiness is not getting anything for your birthday and not caring

I was standing outside smoking, with one of those 'all is right with the world' mindsets...and I realized, I didn't get one birthday present. Not from friends, parents, any one. But I really didn't care, partly because I got a mess of 'happy birthdays' from people...but I think I'm growing up.

-Matt (half rip on all the lame happiness is threads)

Happy Birthday. That's all you're getting from me. No need to run to the mailbox. None at all.

The world is alright. It aways will be.

no presents means no chance for you to see just how little people actually know about you by means of thier poor gift choices..

We had a dog named Muffin when I was a wee lad. That's funny when you think about it.

Sometimes the best gifts in the world aren't gifts at all. - some bitter old man who forgot when his birthday was.

24. Just to be trite; old enough to know better, too young to care.

I'm 25 and I get mad when I don't get presents. Ok, that isn't true.
