It's a no-brainer how easy it would be to slap on a WRX exhaust manifold, TD04 or vf30, up and downpipes, but the obvious problem would be controlling the spark and the fuel...and boost.
I'm guessing that a reflash would be out of the question, however if it were at all possible, I have the Ecutek Delta Dash. I'm guessing that the UTEC would be out of the question. I'm very familiar with the UTEC wrt the '02 WRX only. I'm not very familiar with any other model that the UTEC is capable of managing. Is the only answer a standalone? Would a guy who's comfortable with the UTEC find road tuning a standalone to be close to impossible? I'm guessing that Skywalker might be the #1 go-to person on this issue, huh? Thanks for any input.

no no no lets see 2.2 is a single port head is 10 to 1 compression there is no reflash for it utec is totaly out of the question don't do a turbo kit it WILL blow up-do a swap |

Ha ha ha. I had to ask.
Ironically, I feel like I know quite a bit about the 2002 WRX, but am very, very ignorant about every other car, to include Subarus. Well, that answers that question. I've got the entire EJ20 from my WRX that I could put into it. Once again, though, the ECU is the obstacle. I'm still using that. |
