I start work at 4 that afternoon...but may end up being the "closing" server which'll screw me. We serve dinner that night but aren't doing any New Years Eve type things (in other words...please come and eat, but go party somewhere else).

A couple years running we've gone to one bar out in Berkeley, which has been relatively decent. I dunno though...

I DO have the 1st off though...which pretty much blows my mind. I haven't been getting much time off at all recently. Woot.

So...long post with no answer. Par for the course.

NYE is amateur hour, so i make it a rule to not go out. my lady and i will stay in, drink, and then wake up early and hit the mummers' parade, where we will each have a 12-pack in our knapsacks and enjoy the show as south philly gets turned inside-out by drunk teamsters in drag.
