do people still actually pour in the fabric softener seperately? I thought the Downy Ball was ubiquitous.

if you have a quality washer the wash cycle will blow the downy ball apart

either way any decent washer still has it's own dispenser even crappy ones do
i never understood the downy ball when the washer would dispense it on the rinse cycle on it's own anyway

top load? see that hole in the middle of the agitator? that's where fabric softener goes before you push start

front load? see that little cup in the detergent adder hole that says 'fabric softener'? that's where the fabric softener goes
