Default '03 wrx headlight Question

just curious, you have your running day lights on when the hand brake is down and your rolling let's say,
when you bring up the hand brake, the "parking lights" (those cool little ones) stay on, is there a way to leave those on instead of having the bug eye day lights??

Is it possible? Yes, but not all that simple. I suggest you get the wiring diagrams for your car and read up on how the headlight and DRL systems are wired, then proceed from there.
Also I don't know if you are concerned with legalities or not being that you're in Canada where DRLs are required by law. The parking or "city" lights will not provide much illumination as DRLs and may not be considered adequate as alternatives to the low beams.
