Question What 3 gauges needed?

I’m looking into monitoring for my WRX drivetrain (swap) and am considering installing 3 sweeper gauges in an available DIN slot. But which three would be most beneficial? Obviously boost is the most important as I presently have no means of monitoring, but what about the other two?

1. Boost
2. Air/Fuel Ratio, Fuel Pressure, Intake Temp.
3. Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Pyrometer (EGT).

Obviously fuel level and water temp can be monitored from the stock cluster.

All comments appreciated…

I like oil pressure alot because it gives you an early warning of possible engine problems.

Boost, Wideband 02, and then its up to you. Oil temp is easy to put in and cheep, but oil pressure and fuel pressure are good ones to have. EGT is good but now that wideband 02 kits (A/F) have gone down in price that would be better to get.

Wideband O2
Good tip… I would like to air/fuel mixture but your standard sweeper (1volt) simply won’t cut it and is more of an average if anything. A 5volt system like the Wideband would be sweet… Anybody make one in a 2 1/6 (52mm) round gauge housing?

Boost, wide-band O2 and oil temp. The oil temp is a good choice if you do a lot of hard driving as the engine and oil temp can vary drastically. Also a good monitor to have if you do not have a turbo timer to regulate the temp before shutdown.

The wideband 02 kit that Mach V sells has a add on bit that will let you hook up a 52mm gauge such as AutoMeter gauges. Or if your question was just about gauge housing then there are many solutions for that. I.E. : clock spot, A piller, gauge cluster, or steering column.
