They've been crying wolf on the snow issue for a month now! Seems like every week we have a chance at snow and then the stupid forecast computers change their minds at the last minute!

This year has been bad for snow down here and in the mountains! I can't remember the last time Snoqualmie opened so late.

BTW, "Seattle..Dont Move Here!" That's what I always say. "This is the coolest place in the world, but don't move here, it rains 370 days of the year"

We know the truth behind that little lie don't we?

Subaru's look better in the snow with ski racks on.

I'm acting like a kind on Christmas eve. I won't be able to sleep until that snow comes! There's something about driving like a madman in the local snow at 3am in the morning, that can't be rivaled by going to the mountains. That 3am snow is always fresh tracks until 6am when the plows come out. So make sure to get it while it's fresh.

BTW, new reports are saying 1-6 inches possible. Let's hope they underestimated, like in 96-97 when 6 inches turned into 2.5 feet.

Ahh yes - that was good times. Except that at the time I had a rear wheel drive Corrolla SR5. Bad times in the snow...

Early early this morning I drempt that I looked out the bedroom window and it was snowing. Small flakes...more of a flurry, whatever that is... Could I be psychic, or just my subconsious' wishfull thinking?

Long range forecasts are saying high temps will be around 32f all next week. So any snow this friday will stay for a while. Then we might get another one of those systems that come over the cold air and dump snow until it starts raining.

Then again, long range forecasts are a joke around here. Heck they can't even predict what's happening at the moment most of the time. Just two days ago they said it would be 45 f this weekend

Think I'll work from home rather than drive the STi in the snow. 24 degrees while biking to work today; it's getting chilly out there.

That's what they always say...

I remembered last year when we had the big snowstorms that the forecasts were way off most of the time.
Love snow but i'm skeptical.

You know I don't think they are that bad in the wet and cold. Snow mixed w/ rain in WA usually means just wet roads.
