It can be made to fit, but it's not plug 'n play.

Thanks!
I knew i had seen one and this was it. Though now I know not to look for a V6. Need a higher range tach. Guess Im going to look into a custom built one.

uh wow- that kinda sucks- I mean, its a great project- Im happy he did that to his RS.

But I could have SWORN I had seen an actual 02 looking cluster in a 00' dash one time.. thats what I was hoping to do fer maybe $150 total....(after modding it)

You probably have seen an 02 cluster in an RS before.

Heck, i've seen an entire 05 interior in an 00 RS. We're talking dash, a/c, everything. (this was last week by the way).

I did come across someone who transplanted an entire V8 dash into a GC8.
Cant remember what year. There were no pictures of proof though. Scubymods have a Sti V8 cluster transplant though.

FYI, my car is N/A at the moment but doing an engine build. Higher rev limit to match my driving style. 8-9 K when done. So I need tach to go above that a bit. V8 STi would do but at the cost and the PITA of doing it I think having a custom built is a better choice.

I will get flamed for this but as is my poor 2.5 gets shifted at 5-5500 rpm unless Im in a nieghborhood. I just drive 100 MPH like its 60.

http://www.stackinc.com/st8800.html

You can order up to 22,000 rpm, but I think one of the 0-3-10 options would be better.

No idea on price though, but it does look cool.

Thanks for the link.
Never heard of that company before. It's not quite what I had in mind but is cool none the less.
I had come across a company who built custom instrument clusters. Soon as I find where I book marked the page I will post it.
