Default Beltronics Hardwire install complete, same option for Escort

Just wanted to pass on these shots for those considering a hard wire install. I saw a nice mounting inside the panel next to the cup holder, but I didn't want to cut the dash pieces. I moved that little unit all around the dash looking for the right spot and decided to the left of the lighter/power socket seemed clean looking.

The wires for the smartplug hold it firmly in place, didn't need any tape or velcro.

Radar unit is mounted above the rear view. I got the Vector 995 since it seems to be about the same as the RX65 and Escort 8500 x50, but cheaper. The smart cords are the same for both those units too. Couldn't handle that coiled cord...yuk.

What do ya think.
