Default anyone know where to jack the car in the rear?

i got the craftsman racing jack for xmas this year and i was wondering if anyone knew the best place to lift the car on the rear?

I always thaught just in the middle of the rear diff was fine, any confirmations?

I use a one inch thick piece of wood on the jack support and lift the rear differental. DO NOT let the jack lift on the aluminum differental cover.
