Default Fresh UTEC Install. Problems w/ ABC

On a 2002 WRX.

UTEC install went great. I previously had a boostmonkey MBC, and had it turned a few threads yeilding about 15lbs.

I wanted to install the ABC that came with the UTEC, but for the life of me I couldnt remember what the stock configuration was (over 2 years ago). With out knowthing that I couldnt visualize how to attach the ABC. the isntructions called for things I couldnt identify. I searched the forums, but most of the results turned up tuning guides. Cant tune what doesnt work.

Couple problems.

Problem #1 which is the more important. I tried to remove the MBC that is there, and the tube cracked, and left me with a big cluster f*. I had to plug the broken end and that completely removes the MBC and my boost gauge goes up towards 20psi, where I'm sure the UTEC would shortly there after cut. I was hoping to get pictures of what it's SUPPOSED to look like. With some clear instructions. With arrows and what not lol!

Problem #2 when running the valet map, I could tell the car was sluggish and wasnt boosting properly (good), but my guage read standard boost lvls for that rpm/throttle. Seems like I have the boost gauge tapped at the wrong spot yes?

The boost gauge shouldn't show higher values then what the boost really is. If ya connect it to the wrong place it might not show the right boost, but it should never show higher boost then you're running.

22314 goes to h50337. 22314 is replaced with a y connector and the third end goes to the abc. 1ab481 goes to the turbo inlet pipe. You can find the parts Here and Here if you're missing any.

I've seen that diagram before. It just doesnt "show" me ****.. lol with out colors and points of reference it makes it nearly impossible. I have a few ideas, and at a minimum I can remove the ABC and continue to use the MBC I have installed, and that should keep me in business.

Can someone tell me where is the proper point to tap into into the vac line for boost gauge. I tapped into right before the BOV.

Hippy,

I'm planning on going to the suby dealer tomorrow to get the parts I need. hopefully you can assist me with the last piece. Which is making sure I get enough, and the right components. Based on your knowledge, and knowing what would happen when you install a MBC, and do NOT keep any of the stock parts. This is the parts list I came up with. To restore it to factory condition. Once thats done I can re-apply the ABC.

"T" (CONNECTOR-VAC HOSE NO2) #22315AA010
Restrictor (2 parts, HOSE-3.5X7.5X45) #807403060
Restrictor (ORIFICE-1.2) #22326KA120
In-line connector (CONNECTOR-VAC HOSE) #22314KA040
Hose to Wastegate Sol (AIR HOSE) #09535A050
22326KA120 Orifice
805908070 Hose Clamp X4
22314AA310 Connector Vacuum Hose
09535A100 Air Hose

I have no clue, and really don't feel like lookin it up. If you're really gonna go to the dealership, I'm sure they can help you out(not that they will definately have all the parts you want in stock).....
