Default Anyone have the Orciari Headlight Install Instructions?

I've recently acquired the bugeye Orciari headlamps. I didn't get any instructions with them. I'm most interested in the wiring portion of the instructions. If anyone has it and can fax or email it to me I'd really appreciate it. If you have the '04 stlye I can use that too since I think the wiring would be similar. Thanks

Igal

I have the "bug-eye" orciari installation instrs, and would be willing to fax them to you, though I believe a pdf version used to be available from CC-B.

I saw that you posted to the following thread:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...=edm+levelling

I provided a scan of the wiring part of the instructions there already, and IIRC, that is pretty much all that's provided by ORCIARI as far as wiring goes.

If you're interested in hooking up your orciari's, or even your levelling motors, I can help with that as I have mine hooked up with the levelling motors fully functional.

Question for you though -- is your orciari set new or used? Make sure you have the little black boxes for interfacing with the levelling motors. AFAIK, these are required for the ORCIARI levelling motors to work properly.

-- hope that helps!

PM'ed you.

Yeah, I got them used and CC-b.com's link doesn't work anymore. I'm pretty sure that the lights came with the black boxes for the motors, but I'll have to double-check. I saw your write-up on the leveling switch install and it looked great! My only problem is that I have the 6-pin switch and it looks like there is no way it's going to work with the Orciari's. Looks like I'm going to have to break down and buy the 4-pin switch. Thanks for the offer to fax me the instructions.

not that I would have minded the fax charge -- but I managed to dig up my own copy of the pdf that used to be on CC-B's site. In fact, the instructions that came with the ORCIARI lights seem to be a xerox copy of the following pdf: here (right-click and save as).

Good luck, and congrats on the new lights!
