Been doing some suspension research for my own needs and thought I would share the data I've collected on various springs and coilovers. The list is far from complete so if anyone has any data, let me know and I'll update the list.

Oops, should of mentioned that. Basically only for WRX's. Made an assumption I shouldn't have. Wanna do the legacy?

Subaru WRX Pink, rates 200 front 185 rear

Correction, Tanabe GF210 front rate is 240 (4.3kg)

Prodrive, cannot find rates, drop is 15mm front 10mm rear

Subaru, stock STi rates 224 front 194 rear

Gruppe-s has some misc spring info

Conversion for springs:
kg/mm * 56 = lbs/in
lbs/in / 56 = kg/mm

The Ground Controls are not set at 300. You can buy pretty much whatever you'd like.

That's true but the off the shelf values are 300. Custom rates are only a few bucks more (IIRC $20ish)

It be cool to throw this on a website using a Coldfusion database and make it searchable. IE Car type + Suspension type = rates (with measurement selector.)

I've noticed springs are usually rates as lbs/in and coilovers as kg/mm. Everyone in the forums use this also.

Woo woo. That's what I'm looking for. I was pretty sure alot of people had their own "list" somewhere. Just thought it would be nice to combine everything into a single list that everybody could reference.

I have JDM STI V7 suspension on my 2005 WRX. I am looking for lowering springs (prefer 1.3 drop in front 1.0 drop in rear) and stiffer rates than what came on the suspension. Any and all help would be deeply appreciated.

If it helps my tape measure indicates a 1.5 inch drop in front with Prodrive springs in my 5MT WRX. It is a significant drop -- more than I expected. In fact, I had a hard time getting the floor jack out from under the front end when I was done.

I just installed them and am going back out to the garage to do the rears.

Cobb Stage 2	If it helps my tape measure indicates a 1.5 inch drop in front with Prodrive springs in my 5MT WRX. It is a significant drop -- more than I expected. In fact, I had a hard time getting the floor jack out from under the front end when I was done. I just installed them and am going back out to the garage to do the rears.
