I had a completely stock engine with a PE1820, pinks, upipe, unichip (all we had 2 years ago), BPM turbo back exhaust and a NOS import nitrous kit jetted to 70hp. There where no AWD dynos in AZ at the time. I ran the car to 12.50 @ 108 mph from memory and then sprayed it on pump gas with some Trick 100 added in to that time. I ran about 10-12 bottles of nitrous through that engine. It never blew up and I never had issue with it. I pulled it out to install the Type Ra spec C long block I got from Ron at Axis. I tested and sold that stock motor and its still running today. It had about 100 drag passes on it at the time. The stock transmission is still in the car to this day. Its lasted somewhere around 150 or more Drag passes. 1.6 flat sixty fts and abuse. It held 400hp out of the GT30R Type RA setup. I later converted it to RWD for fun. During that time period 400whp got the best of the Rear axles and destroyed my Diff after that. I installed an R180 rear diff and then the Transfer case gears sheared. I replaced those without pulling the trans out of the car and it was back on the road. It and recently it held 404whp and 390ft lbs out of my 2.5/RA head engine with GT30R. I sprayed a 90 shot on that combo and the clutch slipped at 423whp. Drove the car around for the next day at 1.8 bar of boost which was more then the 404whp non spray pull. This trans is a strong one. Its got about 40,000 miles on it too. I am going to run it until it explodes which might be tomorrow or in another year.

Junior tuned a Green'd EJ205 with stock trans and all to 404WHP I think? It was just a horse or 2 less than my RA-C but his power band wasn't as long as mine.

His clutch slipped too but I think he went 12.5@112? Don't remember anymore cause I was so pissed that my care did way worse cause my clutch was slipping worse than his

people on this thread are talking about vf serious with a 50 shot on stock block? i think this setup would be great. getting a vf30 or 34 so you have a turbo that doesnt take forever too hit boost for daily driving and when you want the big power on the track you suck the bottle.
