Default Will AP Remove Up Pipe EGT CEL?

As title states. I know it will take care of the O2 sensor CEL ut does it also remove the CEL code P0546 = Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction (High Input)? Or is the 2.2ohm resistor the only way to remove it?

If you run the AP maps as a base map then yes they will remove the EGT cel. You can check on the cobb site, but stage 2 removes these cels:

CEL Codes Defeated [WHEN USING AS BASE MAP]
(** means new to latest revision):
P0037 - Rear O2 Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low **
P0038 - Rear 02 Sensor Heater Control Circuit High **
P0137 - Rear O2 Sensor Low Voltage **
P0138 - Rear O2 Sensor High Voltage **
P0139 - Rear O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response **
P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold
P0545 - Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
P0546 - Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit High
P1301 - Misfire Detected (High Temperature Exhaust Gas) **
P1312 - Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Malfunction **
P1544 - Exhaust Gas Temperature Too High **

stage 1 removes most of them too..

Thats the catylist effeciency below threshold CEL. How long have you had the CEL? If its only been for a short while give it some more time. It should eventually remove itself. If not you may have one of the 1 in 50 cars Cobb has mentioned that the AccessECu reflash will not remove that CEL on. You would need the P0420 CEL fix to remove it.

I installed the APS TBE yesterday and I reset the map to stock then I change to stage 2, then after 20 minutes of driving the engine light turns on.

you need to change the base map to stage 2, if your only running it as a realtime map then it won't turn any CEL's off...

You should essentially reinstall the AP. You'll have to connect the 2 green connectors under the steering wheel, then follow the initial flash instructions. turn key to on, select change base map then run it, etc..

EDIT.
give it a few cycles (at least one full tank of gas) to work it out. It sounds like you have the AP setup right it just now needs to cycle through and the CEL should go away.

I reset the AP, then I went for a drive...no engine light for now, but I check it tomorrow when I drive to work.

Thank you for your help.

It just may reappear tommorow but like I said before dont worry, give it a couple cycles and if it still doesnt go away (1-2 weeks) then look into the mechanical CEL fix. Good luck.

BTW, I've got Stg 2 on my '05 with no CELs. I'm installing a catless racepipe tonight so I hope I stay CELless. Funny, COBB still suggested I put the resistor in if I have a bungless UP. They said the ECU still wants to "see" something.

I got an EGT code about three months after I flashed to the 2.5 stage. It was on a long trip, up a big hill (not sure if that had anything to do with it). I cleared the code when i got home, and never seen anything after that.
