will anyone let me borrow their MAF?

I think my MAF is bad after getting water in the Shorty TXS intake during all the rain we had. I dried everything and clean the MAF and I'm still throwing a CEL. The CEL tells me I have a MAF error. Santa Monica Subaru want $250.00 to order me one and I don't know for sure that it's the bad part! Anyone willing to lend me theirs so I can see if that's the problem? I'll throw you a six pack or something like that. any help would GREATLY be appreciated! thanks!

i'd lend you mine if you were local. however i wanted to tell you that if yours is found to be bad, you should try cleaning it before getting a new one. you can use some rubbing alcohol and q-tips and carefully clean the wire/sensor. i was able to salvage mine when i had similiar problems on my 02 wrx. good luck and if you need a new one dont forget to check out the online sites like subaruparts.com they are usually much cheaper than going through the dealer.
