Do you live on a dirt road?

I guess that would be cool with our cars, but when Im done washing it, thats the last place I want to drive on. My friend lives on a dirt road and he gets mad cuz I never want to drive out there. Anyone else?

A friend of mine lives about a half mile down a dirt road. The second half has some gravel added...it's a lot of fun, tho it does get pretty messy after a rain. I don't know about the wagon, but the sedan really doesn't get that bad when it's dry and dusty.

Subarus should come from the factory with a layer of dust/dirt/mud on them...

My parents live on a dirt road, and it usually rains right before I visit them lol.

But, there are few cars that look dead sexy when dirty and the WRX is one of them....the other ones are subies too.

And it is sooo fun to get it more dirty.

i live on a dirt road and learned to drive on one (in an old subaru GL). i know dirt roads, i love dirt roads, and i dont care how muddy my car gets. in fact the best feeling in the world is seeing your car SO muddy that even the roof is dirty.

my REX was the only car amoung 15-20 trucks this weekend at the end of a 8 mile dirt "road", gets a few comments, goes just about anywhere my Z-71 used to go. I'll bet some of the guys in trucks wash-up before me, it's the driver not the ride!

I hear you guys on the dirt road, but gravel??? Our paint to crappy enough and get chipped with regular road driving....adding gravel.....

That being said, the road to our cottage is dirt/gravel -->more gravel.

I hate the constant ping ping ping......I just go fast to get it over with

Any suggestions on protection for the gravel roads?

I wish I had a dirt or gravel road to drive on around here...

there is one place that's all gravel, but it is a straight road to all the junkyards in Miami... so there is slow traffic. and even if there was no one there, there are MASSIVE potholes every few feet.

I use to worry about that until I realized its gonna chip anways.... lol Maybe someday when and if it gets repainted I will go with some mud flaps and rockblocker everywhere

mines not dirt, but its poorly paved. a little bit down the road is a dirt road that one of my co-works lives on....she stopped washing her car because it was such a pain...she got to the point where you couldnt even read her rear plate unless you went up close. Half of my driveway/parking area is dirt

you could probably pack 5ish cars in there...so its not all that big

I live on a dirt road and love it. My car is almost always dirty, but its worth it. My neighbors get mad when I go fast and slide, and my friends never want to drive out either, but I would always rather drive

. Plus it makes me a better driver (esp. in the winter), and I can freek my friends out if I want to.

Well, I don't live on a dirt road. But I can leave my house and be on 15 or so different dirt roads in just a few minutes. The only ones that are suitable for "spirited driving" have too much traffic to be used for "spirited driving". By traffic, I mean maybe 10-20 cars a day in either direction. Still an unacceptable risk IMHO.

The GOOD roads that I can use are private, gated, and owned by friends or family. I'm terribly surprised I have not either totalled my car or killed myself by now. Thank you Subaru.
