just what the title says i traded my AP for a utec but i cant drive around with cel for cats cause i wont pass inspection ik normally u cant but i know someone but they still ahve to plug it into obd2 and any cel u fail

If you are in an area where there is any OBDII emissions testing, the 'splice in fix' will cause you to fail the test... The 'mechanical fix' does NOT-say again- NOT produce a 'pending' state for the OBDII cycle, and you will pass the OBDII test. THIS is why the 'mechanical fix' is a better 'fix', IMO |

Wrong, I had the MIL eliminators on both of my old cars (03wrx and 00mustang GT) and I passed Emissions without anyproblems..
