Unhappy My dad hit my RS!!

Over the July 4th week, I took my new 01RS back to S.Dak to visit the family. While I was there I parked my RS off to the side of my parent's garage. Well, I guess Dad is not used to having a car parked there, because on Tuesday he backed into my car!! He was backing the van out of the garage and began to turn the van so it would back up to the house for my mom and totally forgot that I had parked there. CRUNCH And it's my dad, I mean, it's not like I can beat him up or anything.

It's nothing major, it's basically a 6" dent with the accompaning deep scratches on the rear qtr panel on the passenger side. But now I need to get 2 estimates for my car, before I can get it fixed. So does anyone have a good recommendation for some body shops in the Denver-Metro area.

Thanks for the help,
Slim

L&H auto body- I-70 and Kipling
Hank's Auto Body West- I-70 and Kipling

Both of these shops are KNOWN to do very good work. They did my parent's old Explorer, and they also have done alot of our family friend's vehicles.

I don't have anywhere good to recommend, but I can suggest some places to avoid!

My fiance crunched the FL fender and hood on her 00 2.5 RS and had the work done at Burt Chevrolet. It looked pretty clean, but there were some rattles and electrical issues after the work was done. Unfortunately she plowed into someone and totalled the car before we could take it back and complain. She broadsided a ford ranger going 55. She walked away with a couple bruises as did the people in the Ranger.

In 98 I had some work done on my VW GTI-VR6 at Colorado Coach in Boulder and they did a miserable job. I had to take the car back at least five times and it was still screwed up. It was ridiculous...

Thumbs up Update!!!

Well, I just picked it up from the body shop. L&H had it for the week. And it looks great!! Kind of surprised at the cost though. It was just shy of $1000. And that was for just a 6" dent. At least, it was my dad's insurance and not mine.

Slim

PS: Thanks JJ for the referrel.
