Default Custom Map cross refrence

i had a question, it maby simple for you gurus, but i have been searching arround for the best maps for certain setups. i found some realy promising maps that peole have found to get exelent gains from, im looking to get an xede unit but the maps that are preset from shivs website are not accurate to my set up, would i it be a smart idea to say copy the ,i.e fuel and ignition tables for example from a know good tune of say utec and copy the values to xede
would that be a posibility??

Xede is not the same as UTEC so tat wouldn't be possible. Try the Xede site http://www.xede.com.au/index.php

i dont mean inport the tables, i mean to manualy edit each field to mimic the tunning on a utec, or any other piggy back unit. my goal is to have a good base map for the exact set up i have

Well then you will need a WB and some tuning knowledge. Seriously, there's no way to "mimic" UTEC to Xede or vice versus. Just tune the maps out and be done with it for the given ECU. If it was that easy then we would "mimic" maps from Link, UTEC, Hydra, Xede and so on...Sorry man, that's just the way that it is! The only thing that is compatible is the way that the AFR, timing advance, and boost work. But again, they will look different in each of them. They're simply targets to aim for in that piggyback and/or standalone system.
