Also, how much do you like to tune? There's quite a few threads on the Accessport, but here's my schpeel...

The AP is a set it and forget it. If you don't mind using another person's mod path(Cobb's maps @ Cobbtuning.com), get it. You won't regret it. The downside to the AP is that you shouldn't stray from their mods(map selections). The Accesstuner should be out by the end of the 1st quarter. I say should 'cuz Cobb has been known to be late on their releases. The Accesstuner will allow you to change maps based on your mods, thus making it more flexible...

If you want to tune the car yourself and take your own path, I'd suggest the UTEC.

I got an AP on my STi, and I love it, especially stage 2. Hope that helps.

Ive currently got a catback exhaust and a mbc. I want to get an up and downpipe, intake, and pulleys and possibly headers.

You may want to save your $$$ regarding the headers and intake. Intake is only good for those vehicles running high HP, and the headers from what I've seen aren't worth it on the 2.0. If you got a nice uppipe and downpipe, I think you'd be pretty happy with what you got. Pulley may help a bit out too. As far as engine management goes, if you stick with (up, dp, catback), I'd get the Accessport. Otherwise, you'd be better off with the UTEC.

if you're getting the Accessport, chuck the MBC, and let the ECU handle boost control.

quick question... some ppl on here post what they are boosting in each gear and im seeing boosting in 1st. i never boost in first gear, and i thought since 1st is so short and powerful on its own that it doesnt need boost, and if it did boost it would literally drive the piston through...am i right about this or do i have a defective 1st gear?
