Default Wheres the diagnostic connector on a 95 Impreza?

I have a 95 Impreza L, OBD-1. Where is the OBD-1 connector, or the Subaru Select Monitor port, and what does it/they look like???

I built a parallel port connector, the BC/BF Scantool, only to find out that my car doesn't have the described "yellow 9 pin connector under the steering column panel.."

Anyway, I'd like to build something where I can use my laptop to check a few things, such as MPH, rpm, intake air temp etc etc... Those kinds of things. Any suggestions for software or hardware? I'd like to build something if possible.

Bump, this seems like a simple question... Am I in the wrong forum or something?

Should be under the steering wheel. It looks kind of like a circle with the piece of it cut off. OBD-I's in general look like that.
