Default What is the best shock spring combo?

I do not want to go full coilovers just because the price is to high and I do not race my car or anything like that. I would however like to upgrade the suspension it is an everyday driver with no trackdays and mainly just spirited mountain road driving. I thought of the koni shocks and eibach springs but I dunno how that would ride and handle not to smart when it comes to suspension.

I like the Koni/Prodrive combo. Looks good, rides comfortably, measurable improvement in handling.

For a bit higher performance, but still decent ride quality get V8 Struts with STi Pinks

well not sure about BEST but if I were to go spring/shock, I would try something like Koni + Tein Hard springs or something Tarmac ..

If you don't feel like hacking up your stock struts or doing the extra work, KYB AGX + Prodrive springs have gotten good reviews.

For spirited mtn/canyon driving you want lots of suspension travel, but still reduced roll- I think the STi struts/springs fit that bill pretty well. I use mine for autox/rallyx and track days as well as mtn/canyon carving. I ran the RA setup on my sedan and am now running the STi wagon setup on my 04 wagon- can't say enough about either .

Definitely. And if you want, you can go one step further like I did with the Pink springs. Still good ride quality, but very much reduces the body roll.
