that is whp, 17.5psi boost, the only thing I forgot when I had it dynoed was to up the boost back to 19 ( I believe thats what the vishnu ecu tune was reflashed for, could be wrong, feel free to correct me) . It was running 19 fine in warmer weather, but started having issues on the freeway with the cold weather so i turned it down. o well, Im still happy with where its at.

Default Twin charged 1990 Legacy, the latest dyno

284 hp and 305 torque @ 21 psi and 291 hp and 317 torque at 22 psi.

As for the AFR range... My uppipe wideband (Bosch sensor with AEM) read ALOT different... But I didnt knock once...

I wanted 300 hp, but 9 psi wasnt worth breaking something.... Once I actually have a decent exhuast, external wastegate installed, I will be there....

The blue line is my "off the shelf" stage 1 TDC tune. Bone Stock, just AP v.1

The red line is my "off the shelf" stage 2 TDC tune. Megan Racing UP, gutted stock DP and Mid Pipe. Everything else was stock.

This was back in October 06'. I now have a K&N drop in filter, Perrin EL headers and a Megan Racing turboback. I will get a pro tune at some point in the near future. I hope to get 275 AWHP and 320 AWTQ.

First I would like to thank Nathan (for the great tune) and the guys at Pro Power Dyno Service (for their hospitality and great faciltiy). cheers.gif The car feels great, much smoother than before and the added power is noticeable. On Cobb's Mustang dyno I was 251/285 with an APS TMIC. Now 311/332 on a Dynojet dyno. Not sure how much of a increase it is but it does feel much better, maybe 20+ more hp????

Engine Built by me.
My good friend's car; Byron O'Hara is his name. Same car in the October 2006 issue of SuperStreet.

The higher compression ratio is why the car makes more power to the wheels than most 49lb wheel turbos. Turbos are rated for a HP based on a BSFC and VE. This car is more efficient and therefore gets more power than the normal rating. That's the main reason I run all my built engines in the 9.X:1 ratio area. Breaking all four loose in 2nd on a roll is fun.

Many thanks for Jon at TDC Tuning for letting me play on the dyno for so long. It's nice when tuners get along. He's a great guy and can't wait to party with him at SubyFest!
