Default Odyssey PC680 or PC680MJ?

The difference being the MJ stands for Metal Jacket! Do I need it or not? It's $10 more. thanks!

Heat is the enemy of these small SLA batteries. I say pay the 10 bucks for the jacket.

you can either lay it down or goto an autoparts store and buy a shorter battery tie down

Got mine under the seat too. If heat is bad for these battries why not be in the interior.

I think I'll fabricate a battery holder for the car. they make few on the internet but they are either billet or sheet metal for rediculous prices. 5 bucks in metal and it's done. thanks all.

I stuck a piece of wood that's 3/4" thick under the battery so the OEM tie down would work.
