no top mounts came with this kit....
kit includes just the strut assy's and hardware to adjust/tune

Since those use race springs, you could theoretically use Ground-Control top-mount camber plates, couldn't you?

On, and I'll definitely be needing a ride, and drive if you're willing. I'll let you take my STI for a spin. :P

Too bad you have a GC, so it won't be an apples to apples comparison. How much does your car weigh?

EDIT: Oh yeah, and where did you get them from? Will they be available through allsubaru.com?

These coilovers where disigned by AST/Whiteline to use the STI top mounts, I tried installing Cusco top mounts and Noltec top mounts but they just dont work. But you dont really need them.

See I told you Jamie that you would love them.

these will be available via Allsubaru.com
Allsub is once again a Whiteline vendor

All that aside, i got mine direct from Australia... they are just brilliant
Ivan was right... like i douted him i love em

My RS weighs a tick over 2700lbs

But i would imagine the GD setup is made to accomodate the additional weight of the newer Impreza chassis
and that the suspension flow would be damn similar

It's the design of this coil over unit which makes it unique!
I've never driven on nor tested anything like it... flat, smooth and just badass!!!

iv30, do you have Group 4s in your car?

Also, the noltec and cusco camber plates are made to work with stock-style springs, aren't they? The Ground Control top-mount ones are made to work with 2.5" ID race springs (like their coil-over adapters and advance design setups). Seems like it'd be worth looking into.

Nice.

Hmm, no rebuilding required?!?! Does Whiteline offer a rebuild kit when a "needed to-be" basis arises?

Seems to be the ultimate steet coilover setup.

There is no rebuild kit as these are not like "other" subaru coil overs.
They're not an inverted design...
They're a mono tube steel body non inverted
Thus removal of the need to replace grease/bushes/seals annually

I would imagine that if 'something breaks' or is damaged,
that there are replacement bits available...

Regardless - - Whiteline I know for a fact... stands by their reputation and will back up their product thus making certain that if a rebuild or warranty need arises, they'll sort it, asap.... They've done 3-4 years of testing on this kit before releasing it - and are fairly confident there wont be a need for rebuild kits

and Charlie....
I'm pretty sure this GC kit may fit the GD
Remember that I fit the GC DMS 50'd to my GD with minor modifications....
I'm sure you could sort this out as well??
But of course there'd be a bit of risk involved there as that is an unknown
You know the #.. call or email anytime

cheers!

I believe Jamie's answer would still apply for the BD as the only difference I have seen between the BD and the GC are rear tophats.

Hence you should be able to use BD-specific GpN top mounts.
