Question Ordered Narva Rangepower this is what I got

I ordered from Danielsternlighting.com I ordered Narva Gold H3 and Narva Rangepowers, I am unsure if these are the correct product and no where on any of the shipping information does it say. Can some one with these product confirm they are correct?

Thanks

The H3 looks right. I have no idea about the Narva Rangepowers or even what they are. The best bet is to send the pictures back to him and ask. He has always been good about answering my questions.

Received this from Daniel Stern:
Quote:
Greetings, Shaun. They are one and the same. This gets complicated:
Philips is the parent company of Narva. Narva manufactures (on the same
line, to the same specs) 9004 and 9007 bulbs that are sold in North
America under the following brands: Narva, Candlepower, Wagner, Norma. We
sometimes get 'em in Narva boxes, sometimes in Wagner, and occasionally in
Norma. My error was in thinking we had the Narva packaging in stock at the
time you ordered, and I apologize for that. Nevertheless, the bulbs you
ordered are the ones you received. Of course, if you are not amenable,
I'll certainly take them back.

DS
So, according to DS, they are one and the same. Question answered!

^^I'll let you know. I saw they were sold at NAPA, that concerned me. But after doing some research on them on the interweb last night, it seems other people like them. I will post back once I get them in and can make a compairison vs stock lamps.

Update:
I installed both sets of bulbs, at first I was kind of disapointed with their performance. However, I washed my car and cleaned the headlight lenses and the output changed for the better! The combination of the Narva Golds and the Narva Rangepowers (9007) (Wagner Xenon Brite lite) is great. The Rangepowers light in a much better patern and is very white. The brights are improved over stock.

The Narva Golds (H3) light in a wide patern that extends the with of about two lanes and makes items on the side of the road much more visable.

I recommend this combination to anyone interested in improving their lights. These do not look ricey, they are just an improvement recommended to me by Daniel Stern.

I haven't been to impresed with the Range powers since I put them in. But yes they are better than stock. I think it is the lense pattern of our stock head lamps that suck more than anything else.

Maybe I'll get some JDMs in a year or so.

Has anyone tried adding the relays to the headlights to see if that was a problem?

Daniel Stern recommended I do that. I have yet to get around to it. Maybe this fall. I heard it makes a huge improvement in the light output.

...ok...as of 26AUG05, NAPA has the Wagner BriteLite Item#: LMPBP9007BL for $7.99/ea....I installed them but didn't get a chance to test them out yet at full dark, but they appear to be quite white when behind another vehicle.
They are quite different from the Sylvanias in capsule size, shape, and design.

I think I'm going to try this as well since they are supposed to be the same thing as the Narva Rangepower bulbs. I'm still using the original factory bulbs that came with the car and hope to see a nice improvement.

Does anyone know if halogen bulbs loose their brightness as they age like flourecent lights?

I just installed the Wagner BriteLite Item#: LMPBP9007BL from NAPA and they do seem better than the factory lights, but living in Phoenix its kind've hard to tell for sure because there are so many city lights around me.

I'm still wondering if anyone has tried the relay and upgraded wires to the headlights trick that Daniel Sterns website talks about. I would probably give it a try if I knew how much of an improvement it made on the WRX...

...ok....the light seems to be just about the same with the BriteLite's as the sylvanias....but the beam pattern is better(I have to adjust the aim a bit), IMO, which means better lighting.
