Default The DFW to State Meet Thread

Who is going when?

Caravans?

DFW meeting places?

Etc. etc.

(Mods, close this thread if it is a duplicate.)

For me, realistically I will be leaving on Saturday morning. By then I will be living in the Carrollton/Lewsiville/West Plano area.

I can lead a nice drive on some backroads on early saturday morning.

I think it would be fun

We can start the planning of this in February when we get a little close to the date.

the bankheist of today has many more responsibilities though. Before I was a lackey, now I actually have a role within my organization.

Besides, we're co-sponsoring the event, give me some slack.

I left at like 6am on a Saturday morning for the Oktoburfest state meet. I was wore out by the end of the day though.

Sadly, I will be working that weekend. I have some ridiculous hookups in the ATX service industry that could have been very lucrative...I guess there's always next time.

Brizey,

First Q would be which hwy are we going to take 35W/35E?
Cause some peeps live in Ft. Worth would be better of taking 35W and vice versa. for those who live in the East.

Or we could meet at the next town after 35W/35E joins?

Oh well I don't know.

What do you think?

Great Idea Kev...

It's boring to drive to Austin via I-35

How far more are we talking about if we pass Fredericksburg?

im feelin it... Depending on DFW turnout, we can take one or two packs down... separate them by 15 minutes or so.

we'd take the road to Fredericksburg... if we make too many pit stops, we're never gonna get there.

We will however come into town on 2222 and then hit MoPac to head over to Zilker (meet site)
