Hey guys I need a new power steering belt for my legacy. Should I just go to the dealer and tell them to put a new belt or should I buy the belt and do it myself? I never done it before so I don't know if the installation's going to be easy or not. Any advice would be appreciated.

Get it from a local parts place.
It should take only ~10-15 minutes to do. Maybe get both the AC and PS/ALT belts and do at the same time? |

it should be relatively easy if you've got some idea of what you're doing...the only 'difficult' part would be tension'ing the belts correctly.
I'd pick up a haynes manual or something and see how they tell you to do it. I think theres some type of special tension tool to measure how tight the belt is in order to compare to OEM spec. |
