Default '05 WRX STi HID Fog light question..

I just recently purchased a 2005 WRX STi. I want to put in HID fog lights and was wondering if anyone knew where to purchase a HID fog light kit for my car? I have tried to search around but I haven't come up with the best of results.

Also, if I just go with the factory fog light kit, do I have to buy the covers also? or do I just need the fog light kit?

u have an sti...so u will be putting factory wrx foglights on ur car...i hope that u would buy the complete kit, which includes the projector fogs, switch, relay, and covers...if u want to put on some JDM fogs, u'll need the jdm bumper beam + foam absorber as well, cuz the lights are bigger and will hit the usdm bumper beam....if u wanna put hids in them, it would be best if u retro'd ur own kit from oem parts...i.e. a kit from an audi or some car that uses projector hids, using ds2 bulbs....good luck

You dont want HID foglights - HID white is exactly what you DONT want for foglights.

you could do the oem kit with some Narva Golds..Nice yellow bulb for excellent visibility.

Just wanted to second that opinion..In a blinding snow storm or in a heavy rain the last thing you want is white..
There are other alternatives to stock lights but generally they require more work and expense. Try a search here for fog lights to check out some alternatives.

Yup - go with the OEM kit and nice Narva Golds or the Osram All Season H3s.
