Are you serious!!!!
Your trying to sell RE070 with 21k miles on them! And for $380! These tires are only have a tread wear rating of 140....how much life do you think they have left in them? Good luck...and yes...I know I'm an as* but this is insane.

since you jackasses haven't seen the tires, i'll post pics tonight. they have more than plenty of life in them and i would probably come down on the price if i had a good offer. will be posting pics tonight...

hey spoolinu and bluesmaster, where did you guys go to school to become the authority on tire wear? just curious.

Call any tire store or ask Luke at Tirerack.com ....a tire with a 140 tread wear rating does not get 21k miles and still have life left on them. Most people onnly see 15k out of these tires...maybe you drove like granny and rotated too but there cant possibly be any tread left on them with 21k miles...especially enough tread to be worth even 1/4 of what your asking plus shipping.

like i said, i'll be posting pics tonight...not quite sure what crawled up spoolinu's a$$, but it must not have been a pretty sight. the pics will show his ignorance, no wait, he's already achieved that on his own by judging something without even seeing it.
like i said, this price is not carved in stone.

Just to help out the seller, my original Brigestone tire with rating of 140 on my BMW lasted 46000 miles before change. I have RE070 on my STi which was taken off at 26,000 miles for the winter has about 50% tread left. I was planning on putting those back for the summer. Also I believe it was RE040 that came with IS300 which also had 140 rating got changed at 30,000 miles due to the alignment problem on IS300. These tires were not babied. I drive very hard, fast conering, starting, etc. Just keep the pressure checked often and it may last. Good luck with sales STi Zen.

OK...now we have someone telling me they are going to get 50k miles out of a 140 tread rating tire Congratulations...somehow your post is even more ridiculous then the 1st. Why dont you do a pole on here and see if there is one person with their original RE070 with over 40k miles on them....I would love to see the results. I know I am not an expert but would you say that Tirerack is? They say average tread life on these tires is 15k.....your telling me your gonna get tripple that

Stock IS300 tires last anywhere from 10-20K at most, I use to work at a Lexus dealership and would change them easily within those mileages. Unless you drive like an 80 year old and do all highway miles that might be the only possibile way you would ever some close to getting mileage out of those tire like that. My stock STi tires have 9-10K miles and are easily half worn if not more.
Just my $.02

I just sold a set on ebay (last month) with 80 miles for $435.

The next day I purchased the car I mounted pirelli p zero neros for all season driving and ditched the bridgestones. Pirelli great tire!!!

Sorry, but asking $380 with 21K miles...I don't see it happening, perhaps take off the last zero in the price?

Here's the link for proof.

I would call myself a very efficient driver though somepeople might think my driving is rather dangerous. However, with 100 miles a day commute, 90% highway, all my tires with 140 ratings have lasted me for more than 40000 miles.
