Default link plus map for a stock 2000 impreza 2.rs?

Anyone have one, I w2ould like to get the unit working in my car to make sure everything ..works, before i swap an engine into it and have too many things going on, wondering if things are working or not.

trying to isolate variables here...

If anyone has a map I can use on my 2000 Impreza 2.5RS with link plus engine management unit.

Greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
-Eric

You mean a map to just start the car and see if things work? Or to actually drive on a regular basis?

I have a map for our EJ25 rally car (but it runs some pretty agressive timing)... I would not recommend the map on the street.

just to get it started and see that everything works with the link, but I would like to keep it installed and drive on it to find out some things about it after I read the manual.

If the factory "settings" could be found someplace and could be applied to the link, then the map would not be needed, but whatever. If you dont mind sending it, I would probably stare at it for a while so I can become accustomed to reading it.

well, it all depends on how you've wired it up, really. Your "stock" settings can be different from mine.

Are you doing sequential, or group injection?

gotcha, what are the beinfits of going group inj vs sequential?

Basically I am just looking to get my car started and hopefully tune it some, I know it is dangerous and stuff but if I get a base tune I can "play" around with it making very minor adjustments so I can get the feel of how this thing works and what seems to affect what. "Practice" I guess you could say, because thats how you get good, practice.

So any help is very much appreciated.

-Eric
