Question Drain and refill on '98 Legacy L with 4EAT?

I have already flushed, changed the screen, and cleaned the pan on the 4EAT on my '98 Legacy L Wagon with EJ22 a couple of times. It is shifting weird again with 140k on teh clock and I just want to drain what is in the tranny and refill. How much does the 4EAT usualy take doing it this way?

Not sure eactly what your question is - you mean how many q's of ATF?

Were you having shifting problems before the flush and refill? What color was the ATF when you first changed it? A flush and refill can actually speed the 4EAT's demise in certain situations (e.g., if the fluid is already broken down) -- check out no-coast-punks great analysis on this thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=698860
