I tried posting this in the suspension forum But got no answers. Can I swap the legacy outbacks' springs and struts into my OBS for more lift and how much do you think it will give me?Im looking for some more clearance and a stiffer ride.

You should know that the legacy crossmembers & subframes are shimmed to allow for the increased height.

If you want to be the test bed & guinea pig, you might try experimenting w/ GD sedan arms, struts & axles to give more lateral length to the drivetrain for clearance. I'm not sure if the CV joints would like those angles. Or maybe you could add the shims from the legacy outback and retrofit them onto your car?

You can tell us after you've tried it?

Default I put up the diagram

Note the Outback only adapter in the "rear susp" pic.

On a side note, I'd be curious if anyone knows what part #18, labeled "reinforcement bracket" is and where it goes.

Is it similar to those Do-Luck pieces the fit between the control arms under the rear axles? The diagram does'nt seem to point to that piece's mounting location. (I don't have a sedan)
