Default Legacy Gt rebuild

I am currently looking at upgrading for my 93 subaru legacy to an 96-98 legacy Gt sedan model. However i wish to upgrade the engine in the car significantly. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as of blocks and kits available to me

I would suggest doing an engine swap...of course that depends on your wiring skills...
